Random Photo of the Week

From my journey out to San Francisco last year, on my way to visit my sister in, you guessed it, Chicago.

Just Cuz, We're Freak...

At a recent outing to the local movie theatre, Akita and I decided to take some pictures with the stand up displays.  Enjoy:

We're totally just as ripped as the Hulk...totally.

Chillin' with the high school musical folks.

That T-rex was going to eat me.

We're getting electrocuted by this volt, in case you couldn't tell.

Lounging with Hancock.

We're doing the Tyra Banks sitting but not sitting pose, plus those two were hilarious.

Getting my hair done, by this shitty looking movie.

As is Akita.

A City So Nice They Named It Twice

Here are some random photos from NYC:

Cool fountain.

Love the way the sky was reflected on this building.

God, that movie looks so awful.

Building, under construction, looks cool, lots of x's.

Is it really that long?

Meat.  It's what's for dinner.

Really cool building, I don't know what it was selling or what is was exactly, it just looked so cool, in the middle of the skyscrapers.

Awe, poor kittens, but they are adorable.

Love.

Buildings reflected off another building.

Pretty flowers.

Another sky reflected.

Random cool gold encrusted building.  Fancy.

Want you're palm read?  Here's a place to do it.

Lauren in the park.

Sky reflected, from a distance.

Apple store.

A ray of light.

No standing at any time.

Young Frankenstein

Next we saw Young Frankenstein, which was awesome.  I know, I've already seen it once before, with my mom, but it was just as good the second time around.  I just love Roger Bart.  I saw him in the Producers as Leo Bloom, and he's just so awesome.  I also love Sutton Foster, I saw her in the Drowsy Chaperone, which she was so good in.  And it has Megan Mullally in it as well.

The theatre from afar.  Love this picture, the sun was starting to set and it silhouetted the monster perfectly.

The theater up close.

The stage, before the show.

Close up.

Random actor from the show, probably in the chorus.  Got his autograph he seemed nice.  After I got his autograph, I said to Lauren, "I wish I had something better to say than 'you're awesome and the show was good'" and he overheard me, and was like, "well we can always talk about the weather.  It's pretty nice out right now, don't you think?"- awesome.

Oh yeah, and we met Megan Mullally, she was nice, except she wouldn't take pictures with anyone, which is weird, since Julianne Moore took pictures with people after the Vertical Hour, but Megan did ask us where we were from, and made eye contact, so points for that:

Rockefeller Plaza and the NBC Store

After eating, we walked down to Radio City, and basically just crashed for about an hour.  We people watched, which is always fun.

Radio City Music Hall.

Flags.   I've gotten into flags.

So the guy in like the tan shirt, like kept pointing that camera in our direction.  It was weird.  He was with the two guys in the blue shirt and black shirt.  They kept pointing up to the building across the way.  It was very strange.  And as we walked by them, the camera guy totally quick pointed the camera in our faces.

Another flag.

Some sort of weird like glass statue of a building.

Lots of flags!

NBC News, I think Keith Olbermann might tape in there or maybe Brian Williams.  I'm thinking Olbermann, because you can see the plaza in the background when he tapes.  God I love Keith Olbermann, best, real, journalist out there.

HUGE jaw breakers.

Powdered candy, it's like crack, only better, and not as harmful.

Inside the NBC store.

Huge glowy ball.

Looking up, the ceiling was a mirror.

Some balls...

...just cuz

The office, why they had two of them next to each other is beyond me.
