Day 1- And So it Begins...

On the end of Day 1, we went from Center Valley, PA all the way to Louisville, KY. We didn't really do anything, and the whole day is kind of a blue. Usually on Day 1 we would stay with my sister in chicago, but it was not to be this year.

Here are some pictures (check back later for commentary on pictures):

California- Here We Come

It's that time of year again.  School is starting, and the trek out to California is upon me.  This year looks like it's going to be a good one, since we actually have stuff planned along the way.  I'll try to update with pictures of, most likely landscapes, the trip as I go, if I'm not too tired.

Random Photo of the Week

Who the fuck knows...

Nice...

...hands.

I was just innocently flipping through Office pictures, it was the ones that Michael took on his camera during the Christmas party, when this popped up. I totally feel perverted looking at it. But he really does have nice...hands.

Ren Fair Fun!

Leon Berger and I went to a Renaissance Fair, and it was pretty fun.

Pictures:

Glass blowing demonstration...and no, that's not a euphemism for anything.

A Scottish band, I want to say their name was tartan terrors.

Comedy and acrobatics, not bad.

They were called Barely Balanced.

The most dangerous trick, or something like that.

That scottish group again, and yes that is a sheep doing the worm.

They're announcing the queen's arrival.

Human Chess.

Shakespeare against that guy, again I want to say Marlowe, but I'm probably making that up.

Sword fighting.

That chef has a huge spoon.

They got kids involved, and this kid got to beat up the friar.

Jester vs. That guy.

This guy was defending his honor...

...against the Russian czar.

The queen.

A final number.

Sunset.

Pick a Key...

For my mom's birthday Akita, Leon Berger, and myself made her a birthday cake. It was soo good. We found some pretty sweet candles:

Happy Birthday Candles.

Aerial view.

Posing with the cake...

...take 2.

It's hard to tell in this picture, but the candles burned a different color, like green and blue...it was pretty special.
